Reykjavik, Iceland Part 2

 

From the waterfall we drove to their version of the Old Faithful Geyser. They had an old reliable geyser, but the last earthquake changed the flow of the superheated water to a younger geyser, which is still going off about every 3 to 4 minutes. I could watch it forever…..

The whole island is smoking and they use the geothermal energy to heat and make electricity.

Another unique part of Iceland are her horses. No, they are not ponies, but small horses…..people here are very sensitive when it comes to their horses.
