Wieliczka,, Poland part 2

 

 

These pictures should speak for themselves.  The main chapel was carved by 2 men, working on their own, not together, 73 years.

a salt mine (120) Stitch (1024x444)_thumb  this is an underground lake that is full of salt.  3 men died when the boat, that used to take tourists across the lake, capsized.  They did not drown because they could not sink, they floated like corks.  But they got stuck under the capsized boat, couldn’t dive down and suffocated.  Weird.
