Dublin, Ireland Sept 15 Part 1

You have all probably heard the song Molly Malone, about the fish monger.  Well, here in Ireland they erected a statue to her

So we have arrived in Dublin and, even though it is quite a walk to get to the town center, we have decided to walk and see what there is to see.

So off we went.

The town was full of people walking around, and even though it is Saturday, there is a lot of construction work being done.

There were horse drawn carriage rides   d 9 15 (89) (1024x862)

And shops were open      IMG_6175 (1024x768)

Of course there were interesting buildings and churches to see

  1. We were in Dublin on Sept. 4th, didn't actually go into town to see "The Tart with the Cart", but did a day trip to Trim Castle and Hill of Tara. Ireland was so nice and GREEN!
