There were more statues, besides Molly Malone, like these. The first are celebrating the people who left Ireland because of the famine and went to Canada and helped build their country. It was dedicated by Canada in 1999.

                

                        

On our way out to the ship we saw this ship, really nice We weren’t able to board her, but we went aboard another ship that has become a restaurant and bar and had our Irish beers, neither of us liked them.

We were VERY glad that the local government found it advisable to paint the crosswalks for us Yankees and other right hand side drivers. We might not have made it out alive…..
