Rottenberg, Germany August 29

On Wednesday, we were picked up at the dock by a business acquaintance of Bill’s (Eileen, Duane’s sister’s husband).  Kai, his son Bjorn and daughter Kerin came to get us and take us to their home in Freudenstadt.  On the way there, we stopped in Rottenberg.  It is a town with a wall that totally surrounds the town and even though it is reconstructed, it is beautiful.

We went to a museum of crimes, actually a torture museum.  Luckily they did not allow pictures inside.  This is a patty wagon on the outside.
